Lesson Plan Toolbox: The Recipe for Teacher De-Stressing!

Hello! Hello! Welcome to the Lesson Plan Toolbox. Now that you found us, we hope you enjoy the ride and join in! Our mission is to serve primary teachers by helping to save you time and energy. If you're anything like me, then you have probably gone down the rabbit hole of searching for lesson ideas online only to realize an hour has past and you haven't even really started looking. You think, "How did that happen? Where did the time go? Now I'm going to bed well past my bedtime and I still don't have any ideas for tomorrow!" 

Trust me when I tell you that I know that feeling! Hi! I am Lauren ( the one with long hair and glasses, standing next to Mom). I have taught for sixteen years in the primary grades and am currently in my second year as a fulltime administrator in a private school. I have a Master's Degree in Educational Technology and was granted Master Teacher status in 2013. However, my biggest accomplishment is creating the Lesson Plan Toolbox community for primary teachers. Lesson Plan Toolbox is a safe haven for teachers helping to save them time and energy. Imagine, now you can have the time and energy for family, friends, reading, or heck even getting more sleep. I am here to help you and happy to serve you while you build your Lesson Plan Toolbox.

If you're a new teacher, I am happy to help you get started. I remember having so many questions and being clueless about how to plan for the beginning of the year because I didn't even know my students. I felt bad asking other teachers because I knew they had to do their own work, but unfortunately, there weren't too many options to turn for help. Lesson Plan Toolbox will be that community that you can turn to for ideas and answers without worrying about asking too many questions! We're here to guide you on your journey.

If you're a seasoned teacher but just don't have the time or energy to find the trendy ideas you see from other teachers, then we're here for you too! Trust me every teacher goes through a period like this at some point. The tricky part is figuring out how to snap out of it which is where Lesson Plan Toolbox can help. By joining this community you will receive a weekly newsletter called TEACH, RELAX, and REPEAT which will provide you with lesson ideas that you can implement in your classroom as soon as you're ready. My hope is that this will not only save you time and energy but that you'll get your creative juices flowing too.
